Viridian Gun Cams on display at the Iowa Police Chiefs Association Annual Conference
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – May 25, 2021 – The Viridian Weapon-Mounted Camera (WMC®) from Viridian Weapon Technologies will be on display at the Iowa Police Chiefs Association Annual Conference in Coralville, Iowa . Representatives from Viridian will be on site to demonstrate the technology and work with Iowa law enforcement agencies on joining hundreds of other departments across the country to improve transparency during use of force events.

Viridian’s highly advanced WMC combines a 1080p full-HD digital camera and microphone with a 500 lumen tactical light. Viridian’s proprietary INSTANT-ON® technology automatically activates the camera and microphone whenever the officer draws the firearm from its holster. This eliminates risk of failure to manually turn on the camera during a critical event and also keeps the officer from fumbling with cumbersome equipment.
