All Viridian Gun giveaway contests are void where prohibited and ONLY Legal U.S. Residents, age 21 years and older and eligible to purchase a firearm in the United States and their state of residence may enter. Gun giveaways are sponsored by Laser Aiming Systems Corporation (“Sponsor”). This giveaway is subject to the Viridian Gun Contest and Promotions General Official Rules and Condition (detailed below) including all firearm transfer procedures.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes (or “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and are able to legally own, possess and/or purchase firearms. Employees of Viridian Weapon Technologies and its corporate entity, Laser Aiming Systems Corporation, (“Sponsor”), and its respective subsidiaries, affiliated companies, distributors, dealers, licensees, wholesalers, advertising and promotion agencies, applicable promotion partners and their officers, directors and respective immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or household members (whether or not related) are ineligible. By participating, entrant agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. This Promotion is void where prohibited.

Promotion Period/Contest Term: The Promotion begins at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on Monday, September 6, 2021 and ends on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:59 a.m. ET. All entries must be submitted in accordance with the To Enter instructions by 10:59am ET on 9/10/21 in accordance with these Official Rules and all Terms & Conditions to be eligible to win. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Contest Term. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules will not be accepted.

Promotion Winner: One winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the promotion period. At the end of the Promotion (on or about September 10, 2020), the Sponsor will select one (1) grand-prize winner in a random drawing to receive the grand-prize package. The winner has 10 business days to respond to the Sponsor’s initial communications. Otherwise, the Sponsor will choose a new winner if the initial selected winner has not responded after the allotted time. All decisions made by the Sponsor are final and binding.

Odds of Winning: Odds of winning are solely dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received for applicable drawing.

The winner will be notified through Facebook and/or Instagram communication after the drawing.

Any additional costs and expenses not expressly stated are the sole responsibility of the winner, including all federal, state and local taxes and duties, if any, on Prize. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made, except in case of the unavailability of any prize, in which case Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of comparable value. If a potential winner cannot accept the Prize as stated (except due to legal restrictions, as set forth above), the respective Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner. General Terms and Conditions: By entering and accepting prize, Winners agree to grant (and agrees to confirm such grant in writing promptly upon request except where prohibited by law) to Sponsor and those acting under Sponsor’s authority the right to the use his/her name, photograph, likeness, voice, image, statements and biographical information at any time or times, in perpetuity, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the World Wide Web and Internet, without review, notification, approval or additional compensation.

By entering, participants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. GIVEAWAY CONTEST OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES WHO ARE OVER THE AGE OF 21 AND ELIGIBLE TO OWN APPLICABLE FIREARM IN THEIR JURISDICTION.

Eligibility

Open to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older. Employees, officers and directors of Laser Aiming Systems Corporation(“Sponsor”), or companies providing prizes, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Sponsor and its agents”) and immediate family members (spouses and siblings, children and parents and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

Winners

The prize winner will be selected by random drawing at the end of the Contest Term. The prize winner will be notified via applicable social media outlet after the drawing. The prize winner must respond to Sponsor via email response to the email notification from Sponsor, with the prize winner’s name, address, phone number, and email address within forty-eight (48) hours of the email from Sponsor to claim the prize. For gun giveaways or other gun-related promotions, prize winner must be eligible to own and possess a firearm (handgun) in their state of residence and must pass a background check to be eligible (i.e., must not be a “prohibited person” under applicable laws). The firearm prize will be awarded through a participating federally licensed (FFL) firearms dealer retailer in the area of the winner’s official residence and of the winner’s choice and will not be shipped directly to the winner. Prize winner may be required to demonstrate eligibility in accordance with these Official Rules and complete an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability to be eligible to claim and receive the prize. If for any reason Sponsor is unable to contact the prize winner, or the prize winner fails to timely respond or is ineligible, the winner’s prize will be awarded in a random drawing to another eligible entrant. Sponsor, and its agents, affiliates, and subsidiaries, may use the prize winner’s name, likeness and any other information or content without compensation in advertising, marketing or otherwise.

The prize consists of the firearm (plus any standard accessories/laser) specifically listed in these Official Rules only (state compliant models will be substituted where applicable and available). Sponsor shall choose all components of the prize in its sole discretion. The prize (including all components) is subject to availability and may be subject to additional federal, state or local restrictions. No substitution or cash equivalent of the prize (or portion of any prize) will be granted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion due to unavailability of a prize (or portion of a prize) for any reason (including restrictions on firearms in particular state and local jurisdictions). Any substitution by Sponsor of the prize or portion of the prize shall be made with an item of comparable value. Sponsor is responsible only for delivery of the firearm prize to a participating federally licensed firearms dealer closest to the winner’s official residence. Sponsor is not responsible for prize utility, quality or other attributes. No prize is transferable or assignable to another party.

Firearm Transfer Procedure

Transfer of the prize shall be conducted through a federally-licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer. All firearms transfers will be conducted in strict compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. By entering this contest you acknowledge that you are not legally prohibited from owning or taking possession of firearms and it is valid to possess the prize firearm in your State. Winner assumes all responsibility for State and Local Laws.

Gun transfer will occur through a verified FFL dealer in contest winner’s home state. The contest winner will be notified and instructed to provide FFL information to Viridian (matt@ViridianWeaponTech.com). The selected FFL dealer must provide a copy of its license to Viridian, and firearm will then be transferred to the selected FFL dealer by Viridian. Contest winner will be responsible for contacting FFL dealer regarding any applicable dealer fees and pickup procedures. Contest winner will be subject to applicable background check and firearm purchase eligibility requirements in state of residence, including carry permit requirements. Viridian will not be held responsible if contest winner is determined ineligible to obtain or possess the firearm. The prize is non-transferable. If the contest winner is determined non-eligible to possess a firearm following transfer by Viridian to the selected FFL dealer, the FFL dealer will be required to immediately transfer the prize back to Viridian.

Odds of winning

Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.

Prize Notification and Eligibility

No prize transfer or cash redemption permitted. No prize substitution, in whole or in part, except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, safety or security considerations, or any other reason as solely determined by Sponsor in which case a prize of comparable value will be awarded. Winner will be notified by phone, e-mail, postal mail or express mail at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Return of a prize notification or other documentation as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

Use of Entrant Information

As permitted by law and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, each entrant gives permission to contact you about upcoming promotions, special offers or for other reasons via electronic and ordinary mail. If entrants would prefer not to be contacted by Sponsor following the Contest, please send us an email to opt out at www.ViridianWeaponTech.com pursuant to our Privacy Policy. Sponsor, and its agents, affiliates, and subsidiaries, may use prize winner’s name, likeness and any other information or content without compensation in advertising, marketing or otherwise. Moreover, any posts by Contest entrants on any Viridian social media platforms grants Sponsor, and its agents, affiliates, and subsidiaries unlimited commercial use, including advertising, marketing, or otherwise.

State Requirements

Contest winner will be subject to firearm legality requirements in state of residence. State compliant substitutes may be made available where applicable and where substitutes available.

Changes to Official Rules

Sponsor reserves the right to change the Official Rules and Terms & Conditions or cancel the Contest at any time without further obligation or liability. The promotion and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Minnesota. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with or utilized in the Contest, including but not limited to any printing or typographical errors in any Contest materials, or for any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of entries in the Contest. Sponsor has no liability or responsibility for entrant’s participation in or attempt to participate in the Contest or ability or inability to enter the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind which may be sustained to entrant’s or any other person’s computer equipment, smart phone or mobile device resulting from participation or attempted participation in the Contest. Entrants agree that Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, the applicable firearm manufacturers, distributors and resellers, and their respective officers, managers, members, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any and all liability, including but not limited to any death, injury, loss or damage of any kind, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize firearm, participation or attempted participation in this Contest, or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any prize related activity.

Sponsor will assume no responsibility for the use of the firearm, and the winner or winners will be responsible for the proper safe handling and storage of the firearm as well as obtaining proper instruction for the safe use and handling of the firearm. Sponsor assumes no liability associated with claims for death, injuries, or damage associated with any person’s use or misuse of the prize firearm.

The Winner will be randomly selected by Sponsor on April. 1st, 2021. The Winner will be notified by email at the email address or other account address provided with the entries in the Promotion. If the Winner cannot be reached within 7 days (7) days from the first notification attempt, then that Winner shall be disqualified and an alternative Winner will be randomly selected. Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will be issued an IRS 1099 Form for the value of the prize. The Winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, where lawful, Publicity Release, where lawful, including Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number for tax reporting, and other authorizations required by Sponsor or applicable law or the prize may be forfeited. Firearm Giveaways: Notwithstanding the other rules set forth herein, prior to transfer of any prize subject to any state or federal firearm laws, the Winner will be required to identify and provide supporting information from a licensed federal firearms dealer who is eligible to receive and transfer said prize to the Winner pursuant to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The Winner is responsible for all firearms dealer transaction fees, background check fees and firearm transfer requirements imposed by federal, state, and local laws. Taxes on prizes and all expenses related to acceptance and use of any prize and not specified are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

As a condition of being awarded any firearm prize, except where prohibited by law, the Winner may be required to complete, sign (where applicable) and submit an Affidavit and Required Documents, which consist of:

A notarized affidavit certifying eligibility and compliance with the rules contained herein, including a declaration of status as a person who is not prohibited from possessing firearms;
A true and correct IRS form W-9;
A copy of a licensed dealer’s federal firearm license through whom the firearm will be transferred;
Any and all other documents required by law or regulation to effectuate the transfer of the prize;

Failure to provide all required signatures and documents will disqualify the Winner from further participation and any awards. In the event a new law or legislation goes into effect that will make any listed firearm illegal, Sponsor will stop the contest early prior to the law going into effect and draw a winner. Any winner of a firearm must be able to pass background checks and comply with all required Federal, State and Local laws in order to take possession of the prize. No person other than the Winner may take possession of the prize. Failure to comply with all Federal, State and Local laws including but not limited to background checks for possession will result in the forfeiture of the prize and another winner will be selected. WINNER SELECTION
